Description

I've been Suse 8.2 and a CFA632-NFA-KU Display by Crystalfontz. My problem is that the LCD4Linux didnt connect to the Display. I think the problem is in the Config file of LCD4Linux, there who the port for the display is the port for the FTDI_SIO, if I mount that to a folder and set it in the configfile --> it doesnt work! Plz help me

Dear Philipp,

Check the latest config sample file in CVS; I gave to Michael, my CF635 part of description as it is alws a USB link. Check exactly the name in your folder /dev... my name of USB link was ttyUSB0 instead of a ttyS... as usual serial link. Strange that your name was starting with another name than tty... (not sure). But when you connect your USB display, linux recognise it and mount a name...that's the one to use in config file like my CF635 sample. You do not have to create a folder or so, just pick in /dev/ folder the right name. Check.

Good luck Hervé
