Configfile format for lcd4linux.conf

I use OpenWrt? Kamikaze and Kamikaze uses UCI (Unified Configuration Interface). UCI stores the configuration in text files in /etc/config/application in the format sections and options.

Nbd from OpenWrt? decided to make UCI flexible and stand-alone. It can be used for programs which don't have something to do with OpenWrt?.

lcd4linux would be a perfect example for UCI :)

i ported lcd4linux to openwrt, its already there in the svn trunk. as uci is distribution specific, this is the wrong place.

as the configuration also depends on the chosen plugins and driver it would not make a lot of sense..

UCI is NOT distribution specific. It can be used as stand-alone...
